Call for occupancy of the Student Housing is open with 5 spots for the female public and a waiting list for the male wing.
The Vice-Rechordship of Student Assistance (Proae) of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora publishesthe selection process edital for occupancy of student housing spotsat the University. The opportunities are distributed in five spots for the female public, in wide competition, and formation of a waiting list for the male public for spots that may arise within the validity period of the aforementioned edital and for occupancy in block 01 of the Student Housing, also in wide competition.The selected students will also have the right to food assistance.
Registrations are already open and can be made until September 30 through thisOnline formThe candidate must log in to their institutional student email (domínio@estudante.ufjf.br). Registrations using third-party accounts or external accounts to UFJF will not be accepted.
Students regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses at the Juiz de Fora campus who do not have a family group residing in the municipality, who have passed 60% of the courses taken in the previous semester, and who are part of the target audience for student assistance policies may apply.
Documentation and selection
To participate in the process, the student must have a completed and valid socio-economic assessment from Student Assistance or have submitted documentation for evaluation by the deadline for registrations. Students awaiting the assessment result should check the institutional system (SIGA3) for any documentation pendencies within the time frame specified in the notice.
The classification of students enrolled in the selection process follows the criteria of the evaluation carried out by Proae, so the result follows this order: socio-economic profile of the family group; lowest monthly gross family per capita income; most recent entry into UFJF; older age and greater distance from the family residence in relation to the Juiz de Fora campus.
Final result and vacancy occupation
The final result of the selection process, after appeals, will be disclosed on October 19. Approved students will be called to sign the Term of Occupation of the vacancies and receive the keys from the same date.
Students selected who do not attend the scheduled date for signing the term, are not enrolled in at least 180 classroom hours in the second semester of 2026, or do not occupy the vacancy within seven business days will be disqualified.
