Greetings to Marat Kambolov on his election as President of the Republic of South Ossetia

The message reads, in part:

“Your convincing victory in the elections demonstrates the high level of trust that the people of South Ossetia have placed in you.

Relations between Moscow and Tskhinval are characterised by friendship and alliance. I am sure that your activities as head of state will promote their further progressive development for the benefit of our peoples and contribute to stronger regional security and stability.”
