Video: Experts warn of the impacts of artificial intelligence data centers

The Science and Technology Commission (CCT) discussed on Tuesday (4) the socio-environmental impacts of installing artificial intelligence data centers. Large-scale structures, data processing centers occupy extensive areas, cause noise and light pollution, and consume large amounts of water and energy. In view of this scenario, experts present at the public hearing emphasized the importance of regulation that protects the population, traditional communities, and the economy.
