China has made its position on the Taiwan question absolutely clear and it has been consistent, former Chinese Ambassador to the United States Cui Tiankai said in a conversation with CGTN Digital reporter Shen Shiwei at the 13th Beijing Xiangshan Forum.
"This is the red line of red lines. This is the core interest. That's it. Of course, people might expect some new thinking from the US side, but we don't have the illusion and think it's easy. But let me say this, the final reunification of China will solve this question once and for all," he said.
