Dr. Kotnis: The Indian doctor revered in China

During China's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, a young Indian doctor named Dwarkanath Kotnis, or Ke Dihua, offered valuable medical services to Chinese soldiers fighting on the frontlines. At the height of the war, the young Indian doctor wrote, "Victory in the war of resistance is inevitable." However, the young Indian doctor wouldn’t be alive to see the day of victory, as, after a deterioration of his health during the stressful conditions of the war, Dr. Kotnis died at the age of 32 in 1942. Today, over eight decades since the end of the war, he is still fondly remembered in China. CGTN's Bhargab Sarmah talks of his legacy.
