China-led alliance launched to boost public security cooperation

The landmark International Alliance Combating Telecom and Cyber Fraud was officially launched Thursday in Lianyungang, eastern China. Spearheaded by China at the annual Global Public Security Cooperation Forum, this new intergovernmental organization brings together law enforcement agencies from dozens of countries, marking a concrete step toward joint action against cross-border crime.
