Southeastern Roanoke County in west central Virginia... * Until 145 AM EDT. * At 1042 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen since 10pm. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 4 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
