* WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive rainfall are possible over the burn scar. * WHERE...A portion of Northeast Washington, including the following area and county, Spokane Area. * WHEN...From 2 AM PDT Sunday through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Moderate to heavy rainfall over the burn scar is expected to develop Sunday morning. Rainfall rates of 0.20 to 0.30 inches per hour will be possible Sunday morning then decreasing to 0.10 inches per hour Sunday afternoon. Rainfall amounts could exceed 0.50 inch by midday Sunday. Residents near the burn scar should prepare for potential debris flow moving through the Old Trails and Autumn Lane. Be sure to stay up to date with information from local authorities. Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding of low-lying areas, urbanized street flooding, and debris flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars.
