On Wednesday (16), the National Policy for Critical and Strategic Minerals (PNMCE) was approved, which provides for up to R$ 7 billion in incentives and support mechanisms for the sector. Approved by the Senate at the beginning of the month, theLaw 15.506, of 2026 aims to promote the beneficiation and mineral processing of rare earth minerals in the country and ensure state oversight and control of activities related to these minerals.
