North Central Grant County in southwestern New Mexico... * Until 430 AM MDT. * At 135 AM MDT, Additional rounds of thunderstorms with torrential rainfall are moving into the Sapillo Creek Basin. 1 to 1.5 inches of rain has fallen near Gattons Park and Sapillo Creek Campground. Lower amounts have fallen further to the west, but additional thunderstorms are approaching. Flash flooding in Sapillo Creek, especially upstream or east of Lake Roberts, is expected. Several low water crossings between Gattons Park and the Highway 15 Junction west of Lake Roberts will likely become flooded. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, highways, low water crossings, as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
