We are experiencing a boom in...Text: female authorsAnd this is not a local event. It's a phenomenon in Latin America, Asia, Africa, the United States, and Europe. Moreover, in Brazil, the majority of readers are women. And along with that, a historical demand for repertoire. So, I think that historically repressed repertoires are entering literature, such as those of black authors and authorsesses, transgender men and women, women from various social classes, and this is history, because literature doesn't just appear out of nowhere.
Del Fuego further comments that the reader's identification with an equal in the field of literature can be the gateway tohabit of enjoyment in literature."The first stage of this reading pleasure, the one that will make you seek out another book, is to have found a reflection somewhere. This is a captivating effect of encountering, of having a mirror of a thought, and even reinforces what you already think. From there, reading also gropes, seeking the stranger, looking for what is no longer you. Reading is something with a seed, flowering, and bearing fruit," Del Fuego analyzes.
The author reports that, despite the Brazilian population reading and buying more books by contemporary authors, there is insecurity about the possibility of living solely from the literary market.
The literary field has been experiencing a moment where Brazilian contemporary books are already receiving attention from the Brazilian reader. Never have so many books written by Brazilian contemporary authors been sold. 'The Pediatrician' is a book that sells from the moment of its release. It has a steady flight, but all of this can fall apart at any moment.
