On Thursday, September 17, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Rio Grande do Sul (MPRS) participated in the inauguration of the Regional Court of Guarantees of the Ijuí Jurisdiction. The ceremony took place at the city's courthouse and marked the expansion of the judicial system in the region.
The MPRS was represented by the Assistant Attorney General for Strategic Management, João Cláudio Pizzato Sidou, and by the prosecutors Marcos Roberto Lamin, Diolinda Kurrle Hannusch, Valério Cogo, and Alessandro Salazar Rossato.
The creation of the new unit represents a significant institutional advancement, structured to ensure the efficiency of criminal investigations and strengthen state control in criminal prosecution, aligning the pursuit of accountability with respect for fundamental guarantees.
