Des Plaines River near Russell affecting Lake IL County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Des Plaines River from IL/WI state line downstream to US-41 in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge. * WHEN...Until late Saturday night. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Agricultural and park land is inundated near the river. Residential property is threatened near the river. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 7.4 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.6 feet early Tuesday morning.
