A 48-year-old Polish citizen was today brought before the Sønderborg Court of Law. He is accused of smuggling euphoric substances with the intent to resell. He was detained overnight in the Aabenraa Municipality.
The man was arrested for four weeks on remand and on account of risk of flight and influence. He knew of the charges.

The Prosecution Service of South and West Jutland Police is conducting a trial today and over 17 other court dates at the Court in Sønderborg. A 37-year-old man is charged with several instances of psychological violence, gross violence, and abuse against four women, with whom he either previously lived or was in a romantic relationship. Some of the incidents took place at addresses in the municipalities of Aabenraa and Haderslev. The man is charged with a total of 16 offenses.

The Prosecution Service brought a 18-year-old man before the Sønderborg Court today on charges of possessing a large quantity of narcotics. The case was heard in camera. The 18-year-old admitted guilt and was detained for four weeks.

The prosecution service in South and West Jutland does not bring charges for the verdict of acquittal in the case of bullying against a cultural consultant in Esbjerg. The Esbjerg Municipality has stated that they believe the verdict relies on incorrect information. However, the prosecution's assessment is that even if these informations were proven incorrect, there is no reasonable expectation that the national court would reach a different result.

The prosecution charged two men on Sunday at 2:00 PM in a preliminary hearing at the Sønderborg Court. They are accused of selling a large quantity of narcotics. The two 21- and 22-year-old men from Tønder Municipality were remanded in custody until October 1 due to the risk of influence. Both denied selling narcotics. No fines were imposed. The case was heard in closed session.

The prosecution service in South and West Jutland charged a 45-year-old man in a preliminary hearing at the Esbjerg Court on Wednesday. He is accused of money laundering and attempted money laundering of approximately 32 million kroner. He has partially admitted guilt. The preliminary hearing was held in closed session. The charged individual was remanded in custody for 14 days due to the risk of influence (§ 76, item 1, no. 3). He reserved the right to appeal.
