The 6th Meeting of Researchers and Extension Workers of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) will be held on the dates.October 21 and 22, 2026The event will take place at the IFRS Tecnopark, in Viamão, and will bring together employees from thecampusand from the Rectory for training, integration, and exchange of experiences in the areas of research, outreach, and innovation.

TheRegistrations are open until October 4, 2026and must be made through theIntegrated PortalPositions are made available160 vacanciesfor employees, according to the criteria and distribution established in the regulation.
The preliminary disclosure of selected participants is scheduled for October 6, and the final list will be published on October 13. The event program will be released by October 7.
About the event
The event is organized by the Research, Postgraduate and Innovation (Proppi) and Extension (Proex) Departments. The initiative aims to strengthen the training and performance of staff in the areas of research, extension, innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as to provide a space for integration and sharing of experiences between the different units of the IFRS.
The program includes the "10th Researcher Course, the 8th Extension Training Course and the 7th Habitat of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Meeting". Activities such as lectures, round tables and mini-courses are planned.
Among the topics of the event are the insertion of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in research and extension actions and the strengthening of the institution's innovation and entrepreneurship environments.
