Iran's deputy oil minister for planning said about 50% of the damaged capacity at the South Pars gas field has returned to service by the end of the Iranian month of Shahrivar (September 22), and production in that section has resumed.
The official said the planned program for restoring capacity has been achieved, and that all planned programs will be carried out before the start of winter.
