* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive runoff continues. * WHERE...Southwestern Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 1230 PM MDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 821 PM MDT, the first flood wave along the Rio Penasco that prompted the warning has passed. However, a second flood wave is possible overnight from heavy runoff in the Sacramento Mountains.
