The Vestre Landsret has sentenced a 52-year-old Thai woman to 2 years and 9 months in prison for human trafficking. The woman was also deported with a ban on entry.
The woman was convicted of exploiting two Thai women for several years, causing them to work as prostitutes under humiliating and degrading conditions in an environment characterized by underlying threats of violence, and where the women had no days off.
