* WHAT...After a brief lull in the afternoon, another stronger push of 40 to 50 mph westerly winds with gusts to 60 mph late this evening into Saturday morning. * WHERE...Unalaska and Nikolski. * WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong low pressure system in the southern Bering will bring a number of rounds of strong westerly winds through this evening. While currently in a brief lull for the winds, a reinvigoration of the winds out of the west will then occur by this evening.
