At 644 PM MDT, Zion National Park Dispatch confirmed that flash flooding is occurring in Heaps Canyon, as well as several other drainages within the park. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of rain have fallen, and additional light to moderate rain is expected to persist through this evening. Flash flooding is already occurring.
