* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...South Central Sierra County in south central New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 600 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 251 PM MDT, Bands of moderate to heavy rainfall continue to affect south-central Sierra County. Expect creeks and arroyos to continue to rise, including Animas Creek, Seco Creek, Percha Creek, and Trujillo Canyon.
