The President sent greetings to the current personnel and veterans of Russia’s Ground Forces on their professional holiday.
The President’s greetings read, in part:
“We are sincerely proud of the names and deeds of our renowned heroes – military leaders, soldiers and officers, who displayed their unexampled courage, dedication and willpower at all times, during military campaigns and at battlefields for the freedom and independence of our Fatherland.
Today, the military and patriotic traditions of their predecessors and veterans serve as a worthy example for the current generation of Ground Forces service personnel, and help them in resolving demanding missions with honour in the course of the special military operation and in other strategic areas.
I believe that you will continue to display a high level of training and loyalty to the Oath and duty, and steadfastly safeguard the country’s national interests and security.”
