Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On the Temporary Procedure for Entry into and Exit from the Russian Federation for Citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
Under the Executive Order, until October 15, 2027, inclusive, citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam may enter and stay in the Russian Federation for a period of up to 30 days without a visa, using a Vietnamese passport. The visa-free arrangement applies to private or business visits, tourism, participation in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic and sporting events, transit through the Russian Federation and departure from the country.
The procedure for entry into and exit from the Russian Federation established by this Executive Order does not apply to citizens of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam entering the Russian Federation for employment, including journalism, study or permanent residence.
