One month after the start of the receipt of applications for the Recognition of Skills and Competencies (RSC), the commissions responsible for analyzing the processes at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) present a balance of the work carried out. So far, 670 applications have been registered, of which 392 have already been approved, equivalent to almost 60% of the total received.

More than 240 portfolios remain in process, distributed among the stages of analysis, evaluation and validation. The data also points to low rejection rates, of 1.5%, and of return for adjustments, of 3.4%.
For the presidents of the CSR Committees, Fernanda Alaca and Inez Marcelino, the figures reflect the collective effort to meet the needs of employees quickly, without neglecting the established criteria for evaluation.
"We have reached the milestone of 670 registered cases, with 392 requests already approved, which corresponds to almost 60% of the total successfully completed. In addition, we maintain a continuous and rigorous flow of analysis, with more than 240 portfolios currently in process," they highlight.
According to the presidents, the results also demonstrate the involvement of the employees themselves in organizing and proving their professional trajectories. "The extremely low index of rejections and returns reflects not only the commitment of the Committees to technical guidance and regulatory rigor, but also the effort of the category in presenting their trajectories in a well-documented manner."
The work involves different stages and the participation of members and substitutes of the Committees, from portfolio analysis to clarifying doubts, serving employees and monitoring the process.

One of the first administrative staff members at the Governador Valadares campus, Administrative Assistant Adenilza Maria Nazário, states that the award brought special meaning to her career path.
"It was a source of great joy and also a way to recognize a career built on dedication and commitment to public service," she says. For Adenilza, the initiative represents a step forward in the recognition of technical and administrative staff, recognizing the knowledge and skills developed during their professional lives.
Also included in the RSC, Administrative Assistant Glauco Domingos, stationed in the Pro-Rectory of Human Resource Management (Progepe), highlights that the recognition goes beyond the individual dimension. "It is very rewarding to see that the knowledge, experiences, skills, and contributions developed over the years are institutionally recognized," he says.
For Glauco, the measure also highlights the importance of the work of the TAEs for the functioning of the University. "More than an individual recognition, I see the RSC as a way to strengthen and value the entire career of technical and administrative staff in education."
With the continuation of the analyses, the Commissions intend to advance in the completion of the processes that remain in process. Information on legislation, scoring criteria, guidelines for requesting and following up on updates are available on thepage of the UFJF-TAE RSC.
