The Faculty of Administration and Accounting (Facc) of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) will hold, from September 14 to 18, another edition of the Facc Week. With a free and open program for the entire community, the event, entitled, includes lectures, workshops, mini-courses, discussion groups, fairs and other activities aimed at academic training, innovation, entrepreneurship, career and the job market.Registrations should beheld online.
The program aims to bring together students, teachers, professionals and the external community, creating spaces for exchanging experiences and contact with different areas of activity. In this eighth edition, workshops on Excel, Power BI, Speed Ideas, Canvas in digital business and LinkedIn in practice are planned, as well as a mini-course on Systematic Review with R and activities related to the creation and prototyping of products, digital content and the financial market.

The opening of the week takes place on Monday, 14, at 7:00 PM, in the FACC Auditorium, with the lecture "I am the one who made a mistake: and I don't regret it", presented by Pepê Mazzei, former UFJF student.
After graduating from the University, Pepê worked as a photographer and production manager for Cervejaria Mirante. In 2018, he decided to leave these activities to travel the world. Since then, he has visited more than 40 countries and transformed his travel experiences into the "Young Backpacker" project, which has more than 23 million views on Instagram.
This experience also gave rise to Cidadão do Mundo in 2024, a travel agency focused on selling experiences. In two years of operation, the company has already registered more than R$12 million in sales.
In the lecture, Pepê shares his journey and discusses topics such as professional choices, new beginnings, and building paths that deviate from the initial plan.

Other activities
The program also includes exhibitions of extension projects, an immersive product exhibition linked to the innovation discipline, and an Entrepreneurship Fair, featuring products and services developed by the students themselves.
Another highlight is the Internship Fair, which brings together dozens of companies and offers students opportunities for professional initiation.
According to FACC director, Professor Victor Paradela, the diversity of activities contributes to expanding the Faculty's dialogue with society and highlighting the quality of the actions developed by the unit. "The Week is open to all interested parties. We hope to expand the reach of our actions and strengthen our ties with society," he emphasizes.
According to Paradela, the organization of the event also sought to provide a welcoming experience for participants. "Everything was planned with much care and attention. Every detail is being taken care of so that participants feel welcome and can make the most of every moment," he says.
