On Wednesday, September 9th, the National Coordination of the Postgraduate Program in Professional and Technological Education (ProfEPT) publishedan amendmentto Resolution 01/2026, extending untilSeptember 15ththe registration deadline for faculty members in the program. The selection is carried out on a national level for the reconstitution of the teaching staff of the institutions associated with the ProfEPT andprovidestwo positions for the Federal Institute of Roraima (IFRR). In the institution, there is a position for the research lineEducational Practices in Vocational and Technological Educationand another forOrganization and Memories of Educational Spaces in Vocational and Technological Education.
Faculty members, both full-time and retired, can participate in the selection process for the Federal Network of Vocational, Scientific and Technological Education. In the case of retired employees, a formal link is required that allows them to work in the associated institution.
Among the requirements specified in the call for proposals are having a doctorate obtained from a program recognized by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), or, exceptionally, presenting a statement from the postgraduate program indicating that it has met all the requirements for obtaining the degree and is awaiting the issuance of the diploma. Also required is scientific and intellectual production for the years 2024 and 2025, and the fraction of 2026, as well as experience in academic supervision.
Candidates must present intellectual production compatible with the chosen research line. The call also requires availability of 15 hours of dedication to the program, in addition to offering at least one mandatory and/or elective course per semester, according to the ProfEPT curriculum.
Applications must be submitted by email to the coordination of the affiliated institution (IA) in which the candidate intends to work. At the IFRR, the affiliated institution is theCampusBoa Vista (CBV). Interested parties should submit their applications according to the instructions in the call for proposals.
