On Friday, we conducted a targeted speed control using ATK (Automatic Traffic Control) on Amtsvejen in Nybøl, Sønderborg Municipality, due to concerns about high speeds in the area. The control took place between 05:00 and 14:00. The maximum permitted speed in the area is 50 km/h. The control resulted in 176 speeding violations. Of these, 35 drivers face a penalty on their driving licenses, while one driver faces a conditional suspension of their driving license after being recorded at 84 km/h. We will continue to focus on this area.

On Tuesday morning, we conducted speed checks on Sottrupvej in Tønder Municipality from 06.00 to 12.00. The checks resulted in 11 speeding violations. One driver faces a penalty on their driving license, while another was measured at 139 km/h, where 80 km/h is allowed, and therefore faces a conditional revocation of their driving license.
