"A citizen's quick report to the police, and a focused investigation, among other things from social media, contributed to the fact that the five men are now convicted," says one of the case's prosecutors, Freja Ova Rasmussen.
All five convicted have accepted the indictment.

The prosecution reveals that five men aged between 19 and 21 have been sentenced to prison terms of between 1 year and 2 years and 9 months for gross assault on a young man in Gladsaxe.
In connection with the case, a verdict was also passed for, among other things, illegal weapon possession.
One of the convicted also received a deportation warning.

Law enforcement authorities revealed that a 36-year-old man was remanded until September 11th for several instances of knife possession in Ballerup. He is also detained for a separate act of violence in Ballerup. The 36-year-old had been sought by police for several weeks and turned himself in on Monday evening. The 36-year-old partially admitted his guilt.

Law enforcement authorities announced that a 42-year-old man from Ballerup has been detained for four weeks after his arrest last night. He is suspected of extortion and blackmail. He pleads not guilty and is being held in pre-trial detention. The hearing took place behind closed doors.
