* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Maricopa County in south central Arizona... * WHEN...Until 1100 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 836 PM MST, Gauge reports indicated several washes still above alarm stage from the heavy rain earlier due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Apache Wash, New River, Cave Creek, Skunk Creek, Agua Fria River, North Canyon Creek, Beardsley Canal and Deadman Wash. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale, Peoria, Deer Valley Airport and Desert Ridge Marketplace. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood…
