FFWTWC The National Weather Service in Tucson has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... North Central Pima County in southeastern Arizona... * Until 1030 PM MST. * At 622 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. This excessive rainfall will drain into the Brawley Wash. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Three Points, Tucson Estates, Saguaro National Park West, Picture Rocks and Ryan AirField. This includes the following highways... Route 86 between mile markers 146 and 159.
