UN official hails China's role in global peacekeeping

United Nations peacekeepers are tasked with protecting civilians and monitoring ceasefires around the world. The UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix says peacekeeping needs to be supported by a more united international community. Lacroix made the remarks at the Beijing Xiangshan Forum, where he commended China's commitment to UN peace operations, in an interview with CGTN's Zhao Yunfei.
