Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, met with Bafel Talabani, head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) of Iraq, in Tehran.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the latest regional developments and exchanged views on strengthening bilateral cooperation between Iran and political forces in Iraqi Kurdistan.
They particularly discussed the PUK's role as one of the influential actors in Iraq's political landscape.
