The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, publishing operational updates as of 8:00 on Friday, September 18, according to Ukrinform.
According to the General Staff, Russian forces launched 95 airstrikes yesterday, using 295 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 9,614 kamikaze drones and shelled settlements and Ukrainian defense positions 2,770 times, including 44 attacks using multiple rocket launchers.
The following settlements came under enemy fire: Bezsalivka, Korenok, Ulanove, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Potapivka, Sopych, Hirky, Yastrubshchyna, Atynske, Luzhky, Neskuchne, Kucherivka, Holyshivske, Romashkove, Budky, Rozhkovychi, Iskryskivshchyna, Fotovyzh, Vovkivka, Nova Huta, and Volfyne in the Sumy region, as well as Mykhalchyna-Sloboda and Kliuchi in the Chernihiv region. Russian forces also carried out airstrikes on Kucherivka and Tovstodubove.
Over the past day, Ukrainian aircraft, missile forces, and artillery units struck 20 Russian military targets, including two clusters of Russian personnel, five drone control posts, five artillery systems and positions, three command posts, a command center, a repair base, and three other important targets.
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces conducted one assault and shelled the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and settlements 42 times.
In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 14 enemy attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance toward Mala Vovcha, Buhaivka, Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, Prylipka, Ternova, Karaichne, Potykhonove, Rybаlchyne, and Zakharivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces made three attempts to improve their positions, launching assaults toward Petropavlivka and Kivsharivka.
In the Lyman sector, the enemy launched 10 attacks toward Kopanky, Hrekivka, Shyikivka, Novoselivka, Lyman, and Dibrova. The attempts to penetrate Ukrainian defenses were repelled.
In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces conducted five assault operations in the areas of Yampil, Kryva Luka, and Mykolaivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, Russian troops carried out two offensive operations toward Vasiutynske.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, Russian forces launched 19 attacks, conducting assault operations near Kostiantynivka as well as toward Osykove, Dovha Balka, Pryiut, Stepove, and Vilne.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian forces attacked 25 times, attempting to advance toward Bilytske, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions seven times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Vozdvyzhivka, Rizdvianka, Krynychne, and Charivne.
In the Orikhiv sector, Russian forces made four attempts to improve their positions, attacking toward Chervona Krynytsia, Pavlivka, and Malokaterynivka.
In the Dnipro River sector, Russian forces did not conduct any offensive operations.
No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissia sectors.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated 1,420 Russian invaders over the past day.
