Japanese civic group speaks out against historical revisionism

A group of Japanese scholars visited the September 18 Historical Museum in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province. The scholars are members of a Japanese civic group that has long campaigned for the return of cultural relics looted from China by Japan. After witnessing evidence of the brutality of Japanese wartime aggression, they called on the Japanese government to reflect on its historical crimes and ensure that the facts of history are passed on to future generations.
