UN documents more than 1,000 cases of sexual violence since start of Russia's invasion of Ukraine

The UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights notes that since the start of Russia’s full-scale armed attack on Ukraine, sexual violence has been used against civilians and prisoners of war as part of a shocking pattern of torture, intimidation, and coercion.
