The next statement will be issued late tonight by 1245 AM CDT. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Kickapoo River at Gays Mills. * WHEN...From this morning to Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water begins to cover roads near the river, including Sand Hill Road near Bell Center. Minor flooding occurs in areas adjacent to the river, including Robb Park in Gays Mills. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage late this morning to 13.7 feet this afternoon and remain near this level through early Tuesday afternoon.
