Turkey River at Elkader affecting Clayton County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Turkey River at Spillville. * WHEN...From this afternoon to Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Water begins to impact lower portions of campsites at Riverside Park Campground. Additional water begins to wrap around portions of Riverside Park, reaching the baseball field bleachers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 3.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon to a crest of 11.4 feet this evening.
