In 1935, along the rugged waters of southwest China's Guizhou Province, the Chishui River witnessed four crucial crossings that changed the course of Chinese history. Ninety years later, we stand by the same river, where ancient crossing sites now meet modern engineering wonders like the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge.
