Chinese mainland slams DPP for losing national identity

The Chinese mainland has criticized the DPP authorities in Taiwan for betraying Chinese national interests over a decommissioned Taiwan coast guard vessel donated to the Philippines that was later re-registered as a Philippine law enforcement ship. The comments came after Taiwan media reported on the matter. Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, also slammed the DPP authorities for turning a deaf ear to the infringing acts of Japan and the Philippines in announcing maritime boundary delimitation talks in waters east of Taiwan Island.
