At 505 PM MDT, emergency management reported the Rio Bonito has exceeded its banks, which has prompted the closure of US Highway 380 at mile marker 103. Evacuations are being performed from Lincoln to the US Highway 380 and 70 intersection. Flash flooding is already occurring. FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Hondo. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported.
