* WHAT...West winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected through Friday morning. After a brief lull in the afternoon, another stronger push of 40 to 50 mph westerly winds with gusts to 60 mph late Friday evening into Saturday morning. * WHERE...Unalaska and Nikolski. * WHEN...Until 4 PM AKDT Saturday. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong low pressure system in the southern Bering will bring a number of rounds of strong westerly winds through Friday evening. Wind gusts up to 55 mph are likely through westerly favored gaps near Unalaska. A brief lull in the winds at times may occur through Friday midday, but a reinvigoration of the winds out of the west will then occur by Friday evening.
