The Editorial Board of the Academic Journal of the Superior School of the Public Ministry of Ceará (RAESMP) approved the articles that will comprise the 18th edition, Number 1, of 2026. The works were selected after peer review. During the meeting, the improvement of editorial procedures, guidelines for the use of artificial intelligence, criteria for evaluating submitted works, and the planning of future issues of the journal were also discussed.
Present at the meeting were the General Director of the ESMP, Eneas Romero; the Editor-in-Chief of the RAESMP, André Tabosa; the Coordinator of the Center for Functional Studies and Improvement (CEAF), Luiz Cogan; the Prosecutors Luciano Tonet, Francisco das Chagas de Vasconcelos Neto, and Iuri Rocha, as well as the employees Tatiana Quirino and Nairim Chaves.
On that occasion, a preview of the 2026 edition of the journal was presented. A total of 47 articles were received, of which 40 were submitted by internal authors and seven by external authors. The selection of the works was carried out by the Editor-in-Chief of the publication, André Luís Tabosa de Oliveira, also considering the articles already approved from the previous edition.
Another highlight was the maintenance of the Qualis B1 classification of the journal, a recognition that attests to its relevance in the national academic scene. The implementation of the Open Journal Systems (OJS) system was also highlighted, which is now used in all stages of the editorial process.
Expansion of external participation
The Editorial Board also discussed strategies to increase the participation of external authors in future editions. The proposal aims to strengthen the integration of RAESMP with scientific journals of other public ministries and with educational and research institutions, expanding the exchange of knowledge and academic experiences.
