For the Rio Grande...including El Paso...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Rio Grande at El Paso. * WHEN...Until late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding will occur on Paisano Drive near Executive Center which may lead to road closures. Walking paths and parks located between the Rio Grande levees will become inundated. No other major flooding impacts are expected due to levee protection within the warning area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:05 PM MDT Wednesday the stage was 9.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:05 PM MDT Wednesday was 9.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.3 feet tomorrow morning.
