* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Franklin County in south central Nebraska... Southeastern Harlan County in south central Nebraska... Webster County in south central Nebraska... * WHEN...Until noon CDT Thursday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 724 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that much of the Warning area had picked up at least 2-4 inches of rain in the last few hours. Primarily minor flooding of several rural roads is likely. Area creeks and rivers will also experience at least noticeable within- bank rises, and actual flooding of main rivers is possible but less certain. At least portions of the Warning area could receive at least another 1-2 inches of rain before rain eases up later tonight, and additional rain could fall during the day Thursday before rain completely ends for several days. This areal Flood Warning effectively replaces the previously- issued Flood Advisory valid until 1 AM Thursday for the same area. - This includes the following streams and drainages...
