On September 9, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will hold talks in the Kremlin with General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam, who will be in Russia on a state visit. The leaders will discuss the Russia-Vietnam comprehensive strategic partnership and its further development. They will focus on trade, economic, scientific and educational ties, humanitarian exchanges, and security and defence cooperation.
They will also exchange views on current issues on the international and regional agenda.
A package of bilateral documents is to be adopted following the talks.
