On September 2, the President arrived in Vladivostok in the Russian Far East. His trip began with a visit to the Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex in Bolshoi Kamen, Primorye Territory, where he inspected the Pyotr Stolypin LNG tanker and the Sapphire pod drive plant. Upon returning to Vladivostok, the President came aboard the Kapitan Yunak fishing trawler, inspected the vessel, and briefly spoke with the crew.
Further on, the President of Russia held meetings with Prime Minister of Mongolia Nyam-Osoryn Uchral and Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Ding Xuexiang.
Following the meetings, the President was shown an interactive presentation on the development of the Russian Far East and Arctic and launched into operation a number of new enterprises via videoconference. The President continued his work by holding a meeting on the development of Far Eastern and Arctic regions, after which he had a separate meeting with Governor of the Primorye Territory Oleg Kozhemyako.
In the morning of September 3, Vladimir Putin had a conversation with President of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto over a working breakfast. After that, the President took part in the plenary session of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum.
