
The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
Starting at 18:00 on Thursday, August 27, Russian forces launched 164 Shahed-type attack drones, half of them jet-powered, as well as Gerbera drones and Parodya decoy drones.
The drones were launched from the areas of the Russian settlements of Oryol, Bryansk and Millerovo, as well as from the temporarily occupied areas of Hvardiiske in Crimea and Donetsk.
The attack was repelled by Ukrainian fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 Friday, air defense forces in the north, south, east and center of Ukraine had shot down or otherwise neutralized 137 enemy UAVs of various types, including Shahed and Gerbera drones.

The Air Force emphasized that around 10 more enemy drones remained in Ukrainian airspace and the attack was still ongoing. Citizens were urged to follow safety rules.
As Ukrinform reported, on the night of August 28, Russian forces attacked Nova Poshta warehouse facilities in the Bilohorodka community of Kyiv region, as well as a production facility in Sviatopetrivske.
