FFWSLC The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Southwestern Wayne County in southern Utah... * Until 730 PM MDT. * At 627 PM MDT, National Park personnel reported flows on Sulphur Creek from earlier thunderstorms producing heavy rain across portions of Capitol Reef National Park. This area includes Sunglow Canyon, Sulphur Creek, Spring Canyon, Cohab Canyon, and Grand Wash. Between 0.5 and 1.0 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...National Park Service reported.
