Production in July 2026: -1.1% compared to the previous month

The real (price-adjusted) production in the manufacturing sector decreased by 1.1% month-on-month, seasonally and calendar-adjusted, according to preliminary figures from the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) in July 2026, compared to June 2026. In the less volatile three-month comparison, production from May to July 2026 was 0.4% higher than in the previous three months. In June 2026, production remained at the level of the previous month (0.0%; preliminary value: +0.2%). Compared to the previous year's month, July 2025, production in July 2026 was 1.6% lower, seasonally adjusted.
