Condolence note – Carmen Bender

With great sadness, we announce the passing of retired professor Carmen Bender, which occurred on Thursday (3). Carmen Bender worked as a teacher in the Department of Mathematics at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM).
The farewell ceremonies and wake will take place in Chapel A of the Santa Rita Crematorium, in Santa Maria/RS. The conclusion of the funeral ceremonies and cremation will take place on Friday (4) at 5:00 PM, at the Santa Rita Crematorium itself.
